 To the Catholic Sentinel:

I have just read with great interest the Catholic Sentinel story of the four priests who traveled to the Grand Canyon, and whose trip turned out to be a “journey to human hearts.”

Father Lucas Laborde said, “The fact of being dependent on God’s providence and on other people’s compassion allowed us to reach the hearts of many.”
If I may add, the fact that they wore their Roman collars all or most of the time while traveling allowed the people to recognize them for who they are in order to turn to them as priests of God.

May they continue to wear their collars when they are 65.
