Missed the memo?

To the Catholic Sentinel:
In the Jan. 18-31 issue, Rolando Rodriguez wrote on the subject of abortion, asserting that the question “When does life begin?” remains a mystery unanswered.
Then he alludes to natural abortions occurring via miscarriage.
Assuming Mr. Rodriguez is Catholic, there should be no mystery about the point when life begins; it begins at conception, as all his Church has repeatedly and unequivocally made clear. Perhaps Mr. Rodriguez missed the memo?
As for naturally occurring miscarriages, Mr. Rodriguez answered his own question when he invoked the word “natural.” A natural miscarriage is part of God’s plan, as opposed to man’s plan.
I submit there is a difference between God’s natural plan and man’s butchery in the womb.
