Rosary article spurred memory

To the Catholic Sentinel:
I so enjoyed your article and picture of the rosary section of the Stevenson museum. I’ve been there several times.
Roy Kuhn and I were married Aug. 29, 1939 and lived in a two room cabin in North Bonneville — rented from Donald Brown for $8 a month!
In January 1940, we bought a new 15-foot travel trailer and moved to White Salmon. I must have owed some money to Mr. Brown and sent him a money order. He wrote back — typed, single space, almost a page — thanking me and mentioning his rosaries. I wasn’t a Catholic until 1942 or ‘43. I saved that letter all these years — even in several moves.
