To the Catholic Sentinel:

As a member of the St. Vincent Alumnae Association, I thank you for the coverage of our alumnae homecoming. However, it was the 100th anniversary of the Alumnae Association, so I hoped for and expected more emphasis on that fact.

St. Vincent School of Nursing was established almost a half century before Providence Hospital School of Nursing, but the narrative didn’t appear to reflect that well. Providence’s nursing school was closed nearly 50 years ago.

The pictures that you did print were appreciated.
