We're all catechists

As Archbishop Sample told the crowd in his homily at the ordination of three permanent deacons at St. Mary's Cathedral in Portland last month: we all share in Christ’s priesthood with our baptisms. That means, in part, that we’re all called to be teachers, catechists teaching Christ’s Gospel.

Let your children learn

Middle class good for all

Misfortune calls for mercy
Ten years ago, America watched the Katrina coverage with growing horror. Throughout September 2005, the images showed a nightmarish situation in what seemed like some foreign country.
