Alexis Mollahan, a graduate of O'Hara School and Marist High School in Eugene, has made a mark in college swimming.

A junior at Loras College in Iowa, Mollahan was her school's top individual swimmer at the Liberal Arts Championship meet hosted by Principia College. She finished third in 200-meter individual medley and 200-meter breaststroke and fifth in the 100-meter breaststroke.

Mollahan was a member of the 200-meter free relay team and the 400-meter free relay team, both of which finished fourth. Loras finished fourth out of 12 teams, breaking school records in the 400 meter medley relay and the 800 meter free relay. The team voted Mollahan as MVP and she was named captain for the 2014-'15 team.

A member of Marist's class of 2011, she helped her high school win three straight state swimming championships.
