STAYTON — The Regis girls’ basketball team begins the 2013-'14 season with two new head coaches after being coached by Jeff and Jason Koehnke for five consecutive seasons and as four-time defending state champions. All 11 players return from last season, leaving one open spot. Kyle Tower and Dustin Lulay are the new coaches. They have been assistant coaches for the past two years.
Defense will remain the main focus of the strategy as well as team unity in all aspects of the game, say the coaches.
