De La Salle North boys basketball is coming off a successful season in 2012. The Knights finished second in the Lewis and Clark Conference and made it to the state 3A championships in Coos Bay.

Led by senior all-conference players Larry Kemp and Mike Fesser along with returning starter junior Calvin Curry, De La Salle hopes to go even deeper into the bracket.

The team returns 10 varsity players from last year’s inaugural season under coach James Broadous.

“Our coaching staff really looks forward to this season,” Broadous says. “We will be a much deeper team than we were last year, which will allow us to substitute and still keep up the pressure defense and up-tempo style that we like to play. We have a great group of character guys who are committed to the program and we also have a tremendous group of seniors who will provide that senior leadership that’s needed for every team looking to make a run at a state championship.”
