Last year’s regular season for the Central Catholic Rams was an impressive one, with an overall record of 13-3 and a league record of 11-1.
Upon entering the second round of the playoffs in 2012, the Rams fell to Jesuit 3-0.
Under the direction of new head coach, Andrew Sharp, the team is likely to use a new style of soccer to achieve good results.
Central Catholic has a strong senior class that is looking forward to making the best of their final high school season.
They are led by defender Cassidy Coto, midfielders Maddie Belgrave, Alessandra Fazio, and Jaida Kelly, and forwards Ellie Harrison and Bailey Whitehurst. These seniors are backed up by a host of returning sophomores and juniors.
“We are feisty, passionate, and we want to be successful,” says Sharp. The Rams are hoping that a stable veteran back line, an active and precise group of midfielders, and clinical and dynamic forwards will be the ingredients for success.
