HALES CORNERS, Wis. — Rev. Mr. Moisés Leal González of the Archdiocese of Portland served as deacon for a special all-seminary Mass at Sacred Heart School of Theology marking the 41st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.
An international group of priests concelebrated in the seminary’s chapel. The main concelebrant was Father Javier Bustos, the seminary’s vice president for external affairs, and assistant professor of systematic theology.
Rev. Mr. Leal González is expected to graduate from Sacred Heart this spring and be ordained to the priesthood in Portland shortly after.
Sacred Heart, in suburban Milwaukee, is North America’s largest seminary specializing in the formation of men over 30, with about 30 U.S. and Canadian dioceses and religious orders using it for the formation of their future priests.
