WATCH: Young Catholics to gather for rally, revival

More than 675 teens and young adults are expected to take part in this year’s Revival Night and Rise Up Rally on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, respectively.

Speakers will include: Matt Fradd, Catholic Answers; Liz Cotrupi, worship leader; Randy Traeger, Virtue First Foundation; Heather Moline, Catholic Relief Services; and David O’Neill, Archdiocese of Baker’s Youth and Young Adult Ministry directory. The Ike Ndolo band will lead praise and worship, and priests from the Archdiocese of Portland (Father John Kerns, Father Sean Weeks and Father Ignacio Llorente) will celebrate Mass, and lead adoration and benediction.

Father John Henderson, director of vocations for the Archdiocese of Portland, will also be a part of the events.

The Revival, for college students and young professional, runs from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., March 14, at Jesuit High School.

This event is free, but a freewill offering will support Catholic Relief Service projects in Ghana.

The Rise Up Rally, for high school students from around the Pacific Northwest, runs from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Alex Parks Art Center. Tickets for this event are $40 if purchased before Feb. 25, or $50 after. Registration closes March 4.
