A vigil is slated for Sept. 27 at Planned Parenthood in Southeast Portland.
Archbishop Alexander Sample will be leading a group in prayer outside Planned Parenthood in Southeast Portland to begin a 40-day vigil in the defense of unborn life. The hour-long prayer session is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at 3231 SE 50th. Activists will keep prayerful vigil and fasting for the following 40 days.
The Archdiocese of Portland Office of Life, Justice and Peace is sponsoring the event.
