Teens attending a vocations retreat dine with Fr. Bob Barricks and the Sisters of Reparation.
A five-day vocation discernment retreat was held at the Sisters of Reparation of the Sacred Wounds of Jesus for teenage girls. Daily Mass and prayer brought centrality to the theme of the retreat. Young women from Washington and Oregon gathered to more fully understand the call to reparation in today’s society. Knowledge of one’s faith and strength of conviction remain vital aspects of the call.
“Religious are called to be God’s women,” said Sister Mary Immaculate, vocation director for the active-contemplative community. “All good relationships can draw us toward that ultimate union with Jesus Christ. How we relate to others is pivotal to this goal.”
Adoration and Mass concluded the event with family members of the participants in attendance.
All were encouraged to pray for strong, vibrant vocations to this life of reparation joy. For more information about upcoming events contact, the Sisters at 503-236-4207 or [email protected]
