ACCW plans April 6 conference

The Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women will hold its annual conference at St. James Parish in Molalla 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 6. The theme is "The Voice of Catholic Women," with Reparation Mother Mary of The Angels Bunty leading the morning conference.

Archbishop John Vlazny is slated to offer Mass, with lunch following. In the afternoon, children and young people will be the focus, with Bill Fogarty, director of Camp Howard, discussing the camp's 60th anniversary and describing the growth and experiences available there. He will include information on scholarship possibilies.

In the second afternoon conference, Don Robison, from The Father Bernard Youth Center, will explain how the center seeks to benefit young people. The $35 fee includes lunch. For information, call 503-252-2574 or contact [email protected]
