SPRINGFIELD — Wells Fargo has again donated $3,000 to Catholic Community Services of Lane County in Springfield to help fund services to low-income residents. This is the fourth consecutive year for the gift.
One in five Lane County residents has income below the poverty level. The agency's target populations include homeless families, low-income families struggling to provide a safe and stable environment for their children, and young fathers who want to become better parents and providers.
“Wells Fargo believes in partnering with nonprofit agencies such as Catholic Community Services that share our goal of improving our communities,” said Mike McEntee, manager of Wells Fargo’s Regional Commercial Banking Office in Eugene. “We feel we can accomplish more through such partnerships than if we were each working on our own. Catholic Community Services of Lane County provides unique services to local residents who need them the most.”
