Catholic Charities seeking bilingual volunteers

Bilingual teacher Aracelis Ayala helps kindergartners in Rochester, N.Y. Catholic Charities in Oregon is seeking bilingual volunteers to serve in its programs. 

Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services and Catholic Charities El Programa Hispano Low-Income Tax Clinic need Spanish- and English-speaking bilingual volunteers.

Volunteers will be asked to assist in a variety of activities, including live interpretation and written translation of birth and marriage certificates, declarations and letters of support. Various proficiency levels are needed.

Translation needs are abundant at both Catholic Charities Clark Family Center in Portland at 2740 S.E. Powell Boulevard, and in Gresham at 138 N.E. 3rd Street in Gresham. To help, contact 503-688-2707 or [email protected]
