Come join the fun at the Sellwood-Moreland's 16th Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival and Parade at St. Agatha Catholic School.
For the second year, a 5k Fun Run will kick-off the festival at 11 a.m. At noon join hundreds of people and parade through the main streets of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood beginning and ending at St. Agatha Catholic School. The parade will feature the Sellwood Middle School Marching Band, Irish Wolfhounds, Portland Fire & Rescue&rsquo s big fire truck, Portland Police&rsquo s Traffic Division&rsquo s motorcycle police, children with decorated bikes and wagons and a lot of people proudly wearing Irish green.
Children of all ages will enjoy an old-fashioned carnival with cakewalk. Under the heated tent festival attendees will hear live music from the Clackamas Fire Fighters Pipes & Drum Hyatus and Irish bands The Boys of Malin and The Chancers. Other entertainment includes Irish dancers, and other student talent performances.
Your taste buds will enjoy an authentic Irish corned beef and cabbage dinner, corned beef sandwiches, shepherd&rsquo s pie, Irish sausage rolls and many more delicious foods. Ireland&rsquo s famous Guinness beer will be flowing along with Widmer Brewing favorites.
