Jacqueline Marie Granvall died Aug. 11. She was 66.
Mrs. Granvall was born Feb. 9, 1947, in Eureka, Calif., to Roy and Marian Ghera. She attended Arcata city schools and worked for many years in the legal profession after graduating high school in 1964. In 1968, she married Ray Granvall and they moved to Portland in 1971. They opened and operated their own business, Cascade Appraisal Services Inc., since 1977.
She was preceded in death by her in death are her parents. She is survived by her husband Ray Granvall, Aurora; daughter, Stephanie Granvall, Issaquah, Wash.; son Brian (Annie), Boise, Idaho; sisters Judy (Bob) Satterlee, Ft. Seward, Calif.; Janet (James) Sorensen, McKinleyville, Calif.; and Joyce (Terry) Torgerson, Arcata; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 14, at St. Cyril Church in Wilsonville, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. There will be a celebration of her life following at the family home.
A charitable foundation in her honor, The Jackie Ghera Granvall Foundation, has been created; donations can be made at any Bank of America Bank branch.
