Creole dinner slated

Immaculate Heart Parish hosts a creole gumbo and jambalaya meal, prepared by parishioner Teletha Benjamin, on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for gumbo and $20 for jambalaya. The meal includes a dinner, salad, dessert and beverage. Takeout is available.

All donations help fund the installation of a new dishwasher in the community hall kitchen.

The church is at 2926 N. Williams Ave., in Portland.
