Campaign for inclusiveness needed

To the Catholic Sentinel:

Recently, a photo surfaced of a group of Canadian students in a class photo. All the students were grouped together, except one.

A disabled student in a wheelchair was separated from his classmates. He is shown in the picture seemingly appearing to move his body in order to be included in the picture.

While many agree that this is yet another misunderstanding blown out of proportion, this is yet another example of how people can have a lack of understanding of people who are different.

A suggestion is for a campaign of inclusiveness that Catholic schools and churches should consider, regardless of how inclusive a Catholic school or church may be.
