To the Catholic Sentinel:

I enjoyed the brief article in the schools insert about Christ the King in Milwaukie.

In general it is a great school...my two children went there, and on to Central Catholic. I have one grandson who attended from K-4th grade but left early last year due to a problem with the administration leadership.

A hallmark of Catholic education has always been the close collaboration and partnership between school and home. This administration basically tells parents. “If you don’t like what we are doing, you have other education options. So get out of our way and let us do our job.” That is sad.
