Christmas day event welcomes homeless

EUGENE – Catholic Community Services of Lane County will host its annual “Christmas Coffee” for homeless and low-income persons on Christmas Day, December 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Eugene service center, located at 1464 W. 6th in Eugene.  Homeless guests will join with volunteers and staff to share holiday food and drink, favorite carols, laughter, practical gifts, and a warm place to celebrate Christmas.  All are welcome.
Catholic Community Services provides food to those who are hungry, helps those who are homeless make the transition to decent housing, and helps struggling families get the support they need to provide a stable environment for their children.  Assistance is available to anyone in need, whatever their religion, race, ethnic status, age, disability or lifestyle.
