To the Catholic Sentinel:

I went to a Planned Parenthood meeting.

Scary? But as a pro-life Catholic, I had to understand how  young people and God-fearing citizens can support this organization.

Four beautiful, young women described how Oregon is the last state in the U.S.where abortion “rights” are the “best.”

They added that we all need to “fight” to keep unlimited access to abortion for women.

They go on:  Oregon is proudly one of the only states where Oregon taxpayers pay for abortion.

The women were pleased that 11 of the 13 Democrat candidates won in the last election cycle.
That’s why this meeting was being held.

The regular, necessary political process was described: phoning, door-to-door, donating money, spreading the word for Democratic candidates.

Lacy Beaty, a candidate for Beaverton City Council, was also there in full support of Planned Parenthood.

Please be aware, the Democrat Party is not the Democrat party of yesterday.

We should all support pro-life candidates for election to public office by voting and signing the petition to stop taxpayer-funding of abortion.

May our Lord bless us and our efforts.
