To the Catholic Sentinel:

As a person with Aspergers syndrome, a “lighter” form of autism, I commend the Sentinel for publishing the article on Carrie Wilson Link. She is depicted in Clarice Keating’s story as a strong, fearless woman who, despite difficulties raising her autistic son, has not allowed anything to stand in her way just because her son has autism.

May the support of Mrs. Wilson-Link’s fellow parishioners continue to grow and may Mrs. Wilson-Link’s son continue to be accepted as he is and not be viewed as a liability to the parish he and his mother are members of.

April is Autism Awareness Month.  Please pray for all on the autism spectrum.
