To the Catholic Sentinel:

What next?  Thanksgiving Day has already been almost lost between Halloween and Christmas; Thanksgiving is the one day we, as a nation, stop to thank Almighty God for blessing our country and ourselves.

Black Friday “early bird” specials, getting earlier each year, are bad enough. But now K-Mart opened on Thanksgiving Day at 6 a.m. so that customers can shop all day long.

There is more to life than getting a bargain and making a buck. And now is the time to put our collective Judeo-Christian feet down and say, “Enough is enough!”  All of us must do something to protest.  God does have a limit to His patience.  He deserves better from us.
