To the Catholic Sentinel:

I am encouraging fellow Catholics to participate in a Day of Prayer for Epileptics on Nov. 3.  November is Epilepsy Awareness Month.

I am also encouraging fellow Catholics to participate in a Day of Prayer for Veterans with Mental Issues, to be held on Nov. 10.  In this ever-changing culture, veterans with mental health issues often are targets of “victim-blaming,” regardless whether a veteran has experienced warfare.

In addition, I am encouraging fellow Catholics to participate in a Day of Prayer for Diabetics, to be held on Nov. 17.  November is Diabetes Awareness Month, so pray for all who are diabetic.

Finally, I am encouraging all fellow Catholics to participate in a Day of Prayer for the Physically Disabled, to be held on Nov. 24. All who wish may participate in one or all of them!
