Soldier shows his tattoo.
Soldier shows his tattoo.
To the Catholic Sentinel:

Wilbur Goolkasian says tattoos are a sin against human dignity.

And then there are our armed forces and veterans who contracted with our country to defend “the subject of ethics, everyday activities of life,” by killing somebody, and then getting drunk and tattooed in remorse, trying to make sense of senseless killing.

You are correct, dear Wilbur,  “It is a grave sin for a human to intentionally mutilate his body” or any other’s body. As our Holy Fathers says, “No more war!? No more mutilation! Tattoos? Inconsequential. War. New tattoo images.
