The artwork of eight O’Hara Catholic School students in grades 5-8 has been selected for the fourth annual Jordan Schnitzer Museum's K-12 student art show. The exhibit at the Eugene museum is called, NewArt Northwest Kids: Global Connections.

This year’s theme was inspired by the museum’s founder, Gertrude Bass Warner, who believed that knowledge of other cultures and people promotes global understanding. The museum received 187 submissions from students all over Oregon and 47 were selected for the exhibit.

A public reception to celebrate contributing artists will be held Saturday, April 28. The exhibit will be on view until June 3.
