The Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund has issued a $100,000 challenge grant to help launch Marylhurst University’s new Master of Science in Food Systems and Society program.

The new graduate offering focuses on creating more healthy, just and sustainable food systems. The program combines in-person and online learning for students who want to delve deeply into the diverse problems facing our food systems, and promote socially responsible solutions. The first cohort of students will begin study in fall 2013.
