OREGON CITY — Wilda Jean Plympton, a member of St. John the Apostle Church, died Dec. 2. She was 93.

Mrs. Plympton was born Sept. 16, 1920, to Archie and Marie Jerman in Salem. She was raised on a hop farm and attended Oregon State College. She married Donald Plympton in 1941. They moved to Monroe, La., and when they returned to Oregon and settled in Oregon City. After her husband died in 2006, she moved to Mary’s Woods.

She is survived by her children, Sally, Tia, Peggy (Terry Casebeer) all of Portland, Bill (Sandrine), New York City, N.Y., and David (Paula), Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Chapel of Holy Name at Mary's Woods, 17400 Holy Names Dr., Lake Oswego. Reception will follow the service.
