TIGARD — Thomas Michael O'Halloran, a member of St. Anthony Parish here, died June 15. He was 92.

Mr. O'Halloran was born Sept. 8, 1921, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was raised on his family's farm in Tigard. He attended elementary school at St. Anthony School and graduated from Tigard High School in 1939.

His plans to attend college in Corvallis were delayed when he joined the Navy. After finishing his service in the Navy, he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University. He went to work for Cole, Clark and Cunningham, Inc., where he remained until his retirement.

He married Betty Lou Beroud in 1946, at St. Anthony Parish in Tigard. She preceded him in death. In 1990, Mr. O'Halloran married Winnie Drake.

He was active at St. Anthony Parish, working with St. Vincent de Paul, St. Anthony Grade School, Knights of Columbus, Jesuit High School, and other organizations. After his fathers' passing in 1961, Tom initiated and led a cemetery revitalization project, and is credited with improvements and maintenance at the parish cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Lou, twin boys; Joseph and David, children; Linda O'Halloran and Tom O'Halloran.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie, her three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. O'Halloran is also survived by his children Michael, Ron, Sharon, Kelly, Terry; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 19.
