Stanley Musial died Nov. 12. He was 84.

Mr. Musial was born Aug. 28, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., to Casimir and Ruth Fudge Musial. He graduated from high school in St. Louis and earned an associate’s degree from Santa Monica City College. He married Myra Sue Gunckel on in 1952, in Fresno, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy. After his Navy service, he was a lineman for PG&E. He worked for the Santa Monica Public Works Department as the assistant superintendent in the maintenance division until his retirement in 1984.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steven, Buena Park, Calif., and David Musial, Oregon City; two daughters, Susan Gonzalez, Junction City, and Amy Frigaard, St. Helens; two brothers, Kenneth, Sacramento, Calif., and Lawrence Musial, Yachats; a sister, Mary Petree, Elk Grove, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Helen Church in Junction City.
