LAKE OSWEGO — Peter George Kombol, a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church, died Feb. 21. He was 70.

Mr. Kombol was born Nov. 16, 1942, Spokane, Wash., to George and Lucille Kombol. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary, Gonzaga Prep, and completed two years at Gonzaga University before transferring to the University of Portland, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1964. He married Nancy Miller. During his career as a certified public accountant, he worked for accounting firms in Portland and served as the CFO of Coast Trading Company for 11 years, before becoming self-employed.  In 1991, he and Greg Hixson formed their own accounting firm in which he was active until his death.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Tom; and infant son, Dean. He is survived by his wife; children, Christopher and Liza, and sister Claudia. 

A celebration of life was held at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lake Oswego.
