Norman Wildish died March 8. He was 95.

Mr. Wildish was born Aug. 8, 1916, in Rock Lake, N.D. He married Olga Monson in 1937. He graduated in 1942 from Oregon State University with a degree in engineering, and worked as an experimental project engineer. In 1945, he started a sand and gravel company, and in 1951 he began working for the Wildish companies, serving as construction manager, vice president in charge of construction and general manager.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 2007. He is survived by brother, Jim, Eugene; sisters, Alberta Steadman, Edith Pattee, Rebecca Dickinson and Mary Helen Mickel, all of Eugene, and Jean Jensvold, Camas, Wash.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at St. Jude Church in Eugene. Memorial donations can be to Volunteers in Medicine or Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation.
