Mary Jean Gleesing Mosbauer, a member of Ascension Church, died June 13. She was 68.

Mrs. Mosbauer was born Feb. 27, 1945 in Fargo, N.D. She graduated from Centeral Valley High School (Spokane, Wash.) in 1963 and attended college at Washington State University. She worked in Spokane before moving to Portland. She married (Alfred) Fred Mosbauer in 1968.  In the late ‘80s, she worked for Tiffany Food Company. In 1993 she started working as the switchboard/receptionist for the Transportation Department at Portland Public Schools, changing to the Information Technology Department in 2003 working at the switchboard at the Child Service Center, Portland Public Schools. 

She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her daughters; Ellen Jeanne Mosbauer, Jennie Irene Navarra, Melissa Conry Mosbauer and Brianne Stacey Norick: five grandchildren; mother, Nancy Jean Gleesing; six brothers, John, Jim, Joe, Pat and TJ Gleesing; sister Nancy Rita Louise Heuett,; and nieces and nephews. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, at Ascension Church.
