Louise Arlene (Borgialli) Knoll died Jan. 12. She was 71.

Mrs. Knoll was born Feb. 4, 1942, in Klamath Falls to Louie and Esther Borgialli. A graduate of Southern Oregon College, she earned her master’s degree from Portland State University and an administrative certificate at Lewis and Clark College. She worked for 30 years as a teacher and administrator in Sherwood and Reynolds school districts. She also taught in the Lewis and Clark College at the Northwest Writing Institute.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Jane Feldhausen, Salmon, Idaho, and Beth (Tim) Gish, Portland; four grandchildren; sisters, Carol Williams (Don), Eugene, and Janet Hamblin (Dan), Klamath Falls; and nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
