FOREST GROVE — Kathleen Ann Morris, a member of St. Anthony Church, died March 29. She was 71.

Mrs. Morris was born Jan. 10, 1942, in Carroll, Iowa. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Omak, Wash., where she was raised. She attended Omak Union High School, graduating in 1960. She married Robert Morris in 1960, in Omak. Following their marriage they made their home in central Washington until moving to Forest Grove in 1963. She was a homemaker, but also worked as a meat wrapper at Safeway. She was also the secretary/treasurer for UFCW 555 and was appointed by two governors for a committee seat at the Joint Labor Management committee for the State of Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, April and Stan Morris; and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Bob; three children and their spouses, Brenda and Calvin Bowes, Forest Grove; Kelly and Bobby Shumaker, Guadalupe, Calif.; and Ron and Kenna Morris, Forest Grove; brothers, Ron, Joe and Dan Wood; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A recitation of the rosary will start at 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., at St. Anthony Church in Forest Grove.
