Joseph Sercu died Feb. 10. He was 67.

Mr. Sercu was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y. He lived in Buffalo, Hillsboro and Portland. He worked as a truck driver for at Bekins Van Lines, Tim Hamilton Trucking, Pirkel Refrigeration, Zellerbach Paper Company, Lanier-Brugh, Holman Transfer, Duck Delivery Produce.  He also worked at Physical Distribution Inc., United Salad Company. 

He was predeceased in death by his mother, Margaret Sercu, and brother Charles Sercu. He is survived by his wife, Margo, Portland; father, Joseph Sercu, Azusa, Calif.; siblings, Marge (Bob) Rolls, Marian Friedline, Willie (Patti) Sercu, Susan Sansone, Mary (Frank) Riggio, Theresa Neer, Dennis Sercu, Robin McCoy; sisters-in-law, Marcia Colton, Janice (Fred) Teich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will start at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 21, at St. Rita Church.
