Gwendolyn Drinkwater, a member of All Saints Parish for 60 years, died Nov. 25. She was 82.

Mrs. Drinkwater was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Ceylon, Saskatchewan. She graduated from Balfour Technical School in Regina and moved to Portland with her family in 1948. She married William Drinkwater in 1950. She was a homemaker, then worked for worked for Multnomah County, retiring in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Veronica; one grandson; brothers, Jack and Eugene Lambrecht; and sister, Evelyn Baldwin. She is survived by children, Marguerite Pharo, California, Teresa Rutledge, Gwen Plotts, Mary Drinkwater, Rosemary DeKay, Christina Jarrard and William Drinkwater, all of Portland; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30,  at All Saints Church, preceded by a rosary at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to All Saints Church.
