Fritz Dummer, a member of St. John Fisher Church, died June 13. He was 96.

Mr. Dummer was born March 23, 1917, raised in Willow River, Minn. In 1938, he married Louise Kosloski in Finlayson, Minn. In 1942, their family moved to Portland, where he began a career as a machinist and machine shop foreman at Gunderson Brothers. They spent the rest of their lives in Portland.

He was preceded in death by Lou in 1994; sons, Ferdinand, Harry and Dave; granddaughter, Cindi Patterson; and great-grandson, Jonathan Scott. He is survived by daughter, Diana Scott (Dave); sons, Ron (Patti) and Bruce (Peggy); 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass and reception will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, at St. John Fisher Church.
