Frederick Stadelman died March 1. He was 75.

Mr. Stadelman was born May 12, 1938 in Forest Grove, to Martin and Regina (Duyck) Stadelman. He was raised on the family farm in Mountaindale and attended St. Francis Grade School and JB Thomas High School, graduating in 1956. He served in the Oregon National Guard for seven years. He married Mary Vandecoevering in 1958. He worked as a farmer all of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ed and Stanley Stadelman; son, Michael; and a grandson. He is survived by his wife Mary; eight children and their spouses, Alan and Julie Stadelman, Jerome, Idaho; Lyle and Alice Stadelman, Hillsboro; Linda Young, Forest Grove; Ron Stadelman, Tacoma, Wash.; Karen and Sean Sahlfeld, Verboort; Brenda and Jim Heaney, Portland; Gary and Angie Stadelman, Mountaindale; Susan and Bret Rogers, North Plains; five siblings, Francis, Tony, David and Kenny Stadelman, and Mary Lou Krautscheid; 27 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis Church in Roy.
