Floyd Snyder died July 21. He was 83.

Mr. Snyder was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Renton, Wash., to Amos and Nellie (Hartman) Snyder. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and spent 37 years working for U.S. Bank.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet Eileen (Seidl) Snyder; children, Christine (John) Murtha, John Snyder, Nancy Snyder; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 26, at Queen of Peace Church in Salem.
