BEAVERTON — Donald Lee, a member of St. Cecilia Parish, died Aug. 5. He was 79.

Mr. Lee was born March 23, 1934, in Tacoma, Wash. He attended Tacoma schools including Lincoln High School. He later attended technical school, where he received an FCC radio license, and one year of college at Lewis and Clark College in Portland. From 1982-‘99 he was an active participant with the Piano Bar and Jasmine Tree Dinner Theater performers and community theater productions. He worked at Omark and Stanley Tools as a metallurgical technician, and retired from Gerber Legendary Blades as a machinist.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Lee and Evelyn (Lee) Crothers and stepfather, Lewis Crothers; sister, Lila (Lee) Samson; and brother, Kenneth Lee. He is survived by his wife Barbara Miles; children, Cynthia and Jason Lee; stepchildren, Janmarie Dielschneider, Meg and Bill Wynn, and Amy Dielschneider; and two grandsons.

A service was held at St. Cecilia Church in Beaverton.
