Donald McKinley Fuglee died Sept. 2. He was 89.

Mr. Fuglee was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Bowman, N.D., to Walter M. and Rose (Deurmier) Fuglee. He attended Benson Polytechnic High School and received his GED in the Army.  He served during World War II as a sergeant with the Army Air Force. He married Anne (Comella) in 1945 and was baptized several years later at St. Philip Neri Church. He worked in the produce business for many years, delivering to the Bend and Pendleton areas of Oregon.  He later worked in the automobile business until he retired as fleet sales manager at Courtesy Ford. 

He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anne; children, Kenneth, Carol Wright and Kathleen Cooper; brother, Robert; two grandchildren; and seventeen nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was celebrated at St. Anthony Church. Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or to the Oregon Chapter, Alzheimer’s Society.
