Annamae (Jost) Niedermeyer, a member of St. Thomas More, St. Pius and St. John Fisher churches, died Oct. 8. She was 80.

Mrs. Niedermeyer was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Olympia, Wash. She attended Bordeaux Elementary School and graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in 1950. She attended Marylhurst College. In 1953, she married Edward Niedermeyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995; her parents; her sister, Nora Patricia Jost in 2008; and her oldest son, Greg, in 2012. She is survived by four daughters, Maureen, Clackamas; Jeanmarie, New York; Lisa, Portland; Karen (Tom), Portland; five sons, Terry, Portland; David, Estacada; Patrick (Teresa), Portland; Paul (Lisa), Virginia; and Brian (Angela), Montana.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at St. Thomas More Church. Recitation of the rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, at St. Thomas More. Memorial donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
