LAKE OSWEGO — Our Lady of the Lake Church here is among several parishes that will host the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima, which was blessed in October by Pope Francis.

The statue will be available for viewing at the parish Thursday, July 3, from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A rosary is planned for 11 a.m. Masses will be celebrated at 6:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.

On Saturday, Archbishop Alexander Sample consecrated the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon to the Blessed Mother under the title of “Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima.”  Inspired by Pope Francis, who consecrated the world to Our Lady of Fatima last October, the archbishop has entrusted the archdiocese to Mary’s maternal protection.
