Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be performed April 13-15 and April 19-21 in the Mago Hunt Center Theater on the University of Portland campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. All performances are at 7:30 p.m., except for the Sunday performance, which is set at 2 p.m.

The play is about love and supernatural trickery. Four young people flee into the woods to escape their parents' disapproval, where they attract the attention of a impish fairy who leads them into all sorts of misunderstandings. A group of Athenian craftsmen also come into the woods to rehearse a play, but run smack into the middle of a marital spat between the fairy king and queen. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
